These photographs were made in September 2021 at Charleston Farmhouse in Sussex, amongst the painted surfaces of English radicals Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. I wanted to inhabit the original spirit of the place; not to see it as an antique, but how I imagine it was lived; unconforming, fluid, layered, animate. All the images are a product of in-camera multiple exposures, photographed with a rangefinder camera on Kodak Portra film. Available to buy
